F**k the Bill of Rights

That is what I am hearing when I read:

…blog post asking supporters to send "fishy" information received through rumors, chain e-mails and casual conversations to a White House e-mail address, [email protected]

from this news story, www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/08/05/white-house-draws-requesting-fishy-information-supporters-health-reform/

I know the Obama Administration is trying to get rid of the 2nd Amendment, but I had no idea they were trying to get rid of the 1st Amendment too. I mean really, now we as citizens cannot voice our opinion about proposed legislation? We cannot question our lawmakers and even more so the President?

Any Liberal that accused the Bush Administration of taking away people’s rights, infringing on privacy, etc. Needs to shout from their rooftops how wrong they were and shout from their rooftops how terrible this administration is.

What are they going to do with this data? Figure out who to charge more on taxes? Figure out who to audit? Create a blacklist of people not allowed in national parks and monuments? WTF people?

We have posted some pretty outrageous things on this blog from videos to quotes showing how things are going down the tube in this country, but this takes the cake.

It is late here and I was about to go to bed, but I read the story above and I could not help myself. I could not write this blog fast enough. AMERICA, WAKE UP!!!!!

Let your elected representative know how you feel about this healthcare bill and while you are at it, let them know how you feel about this new move by the White House.

BTW, anyone want to put bets on who and how fast this blog gets sent to the White House?

  1. But of course. No one is allowed to question or condemn the spending, or the ideas, that are coming out of this administration. You are either a racist, a kind of terrorist, or whatever the phrase of the day is.

Look at the Town Hall meetings on healthcare. The American people are standing up and saying HELL NO! And what is this administration doing? “Oh well, those people are planted by conservative groups…Americans really want this.” Meanwhile EVERY damn poll out there shows 5 out of 6 Americans like their healthcare the way it is, and 4 out of those 5 say they REALLY like their healthcare as it is.

Somehow the dems aren’t grasping the concept that they are pis$ing off the masses.

    For a good laugh…read this… http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/08/gop_upset_victory_in_delaware.html

The GOP candidate took a seat, that the dems have held for 40 years, away in a landslide victory. Joe Booth (R) won by 60% of the vote, 30% over the dem candidate, in a heavily dem area.

Looks like people are waking up, where will the apologists be then? Back to griping when they should have been griping about THEIR man all along.

  2. I can see why the Whitehouse did this, but it does come off as McCarthy-istic.
As for the townhalls, I give it a 50-50 split. Some of the videos show stupid smack downs. Some show some interesting discourse. The end result is that viideos that show people enraged get more play and attention. The woman interrupting a speech by singing “God Bless America” (one of my favorite songs) was a beaut. Can’t tell me she came to give her ideas on healthcare.

  3. That bunch in the WH will go to any extreme to try to show the public that O is doing the right thing. BULLCRAP!!
Everyday we are being forced more and more into Communism by this bunch and it makes me SICK!!! They are going to keep pushing until the real TRUE Americans will uprise and then there will be a REAL problem (mark my words as my Mother used to say). Remember you read it here!!!

  4. There is a little law breaking going on with this White House request it steams from the Nixon years and gathering of information on protesters. It seems the Obama administration needs to get lawyers who know the law.

    Google: USC 552 A

Basic read: Government cannot collect, gather or store information about its citizens actions regarding 1st Amendment.

Opps! The White House by law must store all emails.

    (7) maintain no record describing how any individual exercises rights guaranteed by the First Amendment unless expressly authorized by statute or by the individual about whom the record is maintained or unless pertinent to and within the scope of an authorized law enforcement activity;

  5. And what are you uprising against?? People leading this uprising are the sames ones that are saying “Keep your government hands of my Medicare!” (hint… its already government controlled).

What I like about the current plan (HR 3200):

Cheap option for those who are unemployed and can’t afford Cobra and for those where its not offered.

    Exemption for small businesses.

    What I don’t like -
Establish an exchange to act as front end for insurance plans. Why can’t I just go direct.

Overseer to act as a Quality monitor. This is well-intended but the SEC (another such “quality monitor”) let Bernie Meadoff live large for many years before he got caught.

Just my thoughts. Anyone care to add?
