  1. I’m undecided because I’ve yet to see a copy of it. I hear interpretations from both parties, but I’ve yet to see the actual copy of what’s under consideration.
I challenge anyone else on this site to find it as well.
    Thanks,

edit: Sorry it took so long for that to appear, I wound up having to log in to approve my post!

  3. I’m totally against it for many reasons. Our govt has mismanaged or bankrupted every program it has ever run from SS to auto bailouts. Now they want us to give them control over every aspect of our health care? Not to mention the fact that I believe it is 100% against our Constitution. I don’t want to be a socialist country no matter who is selling the idea. Any program that steals my money and lets the govt decide who to give it to in ANY form = socialism.

  4. Like I said, its hard to have a meaningful debate without a common piece to refer to. I’m not a fan of a completely nationalized solution, but we have to have better then having people show up at ER’s for asperin.

  5. Thanks, Country Singer. In the interim, I found a Thomas Summary which does a pretty good job of condensing it -

Obviously it isn’t written in stone and much can be changed. I’m just truly sick of the rhetoric on both sides about something that took half a day to find and hasn’t gotten to the Senate yet.

  6. From the looks of what this President has done since he took office; I DO NOT trust ANYTHING he suggests and I am so sick of seeing his puss on TV every day. He acts like he has a soap opera going on. Instead he should act like a President and all of those before him that go to the office and REALLY do something worthwhile for US (the people). I am really afraid of this man because of what he is doing to our country; God please HELP US because we know YOU are and always will be in control. We need prayers and NOT MUSLIM prayers!! Go home Obama!!!

  7. I could go into all the positive things he’s done since taking office but it would:
    1. Take way too long.
    2. Take this off topic from what it started.
I will remark my agreement with Carol in one respect. Yes, The Almighty is in charge.
